Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating a Ledgers account or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Ledgers.

2. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable use

Use Ledgers only for the lawful management of your own finances or those of an organisation you are authorised to represent. You may not use the service to upload content that is unlawful, infringes another's rights, or contains malicious code.

4. Your data

You retain ownership of all financial records you upload. We process your data to provide the service (parsing statements, categorising transactions, generating reports) and for nothing else. See the Privacy Policy for details.

5. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance and unplanned outages may occur. Ledgers is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

6. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the settings page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, your data is retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email at least 14 days before they take effect.
